It is not however enough, if you are looking for steady growth. ð
How many people do you think each of your customers can and will refer you to? ð§ðŧðĻðūðĶēðĩðŧð§ðŧðīð―ðēðŧ ðģðū
People only have a finite number of relevant contacts and not all of them will necessarily approach you off the back of a referral alone. ðĪ
You need to establish a presence within the marketplace. People need to say’ Oh yeah, I’ve heard of them’ when they hear your name. ðĄ
A great marketing strategy will help you to do this. âïļ
Doing a small number of things well, will have amazing results for you and your business. ð° ð ð
What do you do to market your business? ðĪ·âïļ
Referrals won't enable consistent growth. For consistent growth, you need consistent activity to facilitate it. ð
Before you start your consistent activity, you need to know where your ideal customers ‘hang out’. Where will they see your marketing material? ðĪ ðĪ
Is it social media? Is it magazines? Is it google ðŧ,
billboards,
radio ðŧ,
TV ðš,
Sports grounds â―ïļ ð ð ,
Phone boxes âïļ ……
The list of possible places is endless. But you need to know if you want your marketing to work.
I’d love to know if anyone still advertises in phone boxes, Do you even get phone boxes anywhere anymore? âïļ
Anyway, back on track Adam ðĪĶâïļ
The point is, if you don’t know your ideal customer and you don’t know where to find them. Your marketing is doing nothing for you other than wasting your money. ðĨð° ð· ðĨ
If you get any results, they are as a result of luck, not a result of a carefully thought through campaign. ðĪ
Referrals are great and you should absolutely be asking each and every client for them, but on their own, they are not enough. ððž
