Whatever it is that you do, there are ways to sell more to your customers.
You can sell a faster service ๐,
You can sell additional products that compliment something your customer has already brought ๐ ๐,
You can upgrade from a basic to a premium package ๐ฅ ๐ฅ ๐ฅ , you could offer free postage or shipping based on a minimum spend value ๐ฆ.
The key to getting upsells right, is to make sure you offer one that is relevant.
Don’t go offering a free corn on the cob ๐ฝ when you purchase a new pair of shoes ๐
Make sure you ALWAYS offer it…. But, don’t be pushy. ๐
Use urgency or scarcity to increase the uptake on your upsell. ๐
Use the right language to make people make your customers go, 'Mmmmm that sounds like something I need in my life'. ๐ฆ ๐ง
If you are offering an upgrade or premium package upsell. Make sure you have 3 levels available starting with basic and culminating in your premium or platinum package. ๐ฅ ๐ฅ ๐ฅ
Don’t ask me why but the rule of 3 works. ๐คทโ๏ธ
The best time to offer an upsell is always after the customer has already purchased because they have made the decision to part with their money already. This makes the decision to upgrade far easier for them and will result in more uptakes on your offer. ๐ท
Give it a go, have a think about the services you can offer to upsell to your existing clients.
