Your Questions Answered

There are many ways in which a coach can hold you accountable.

The most effective way is for the coach to articulate to you the impact of not seeing through your commitments.

I essence, if you don’t do what you say you will do, then you will not get the results you want.

Coaches can get you to send them the completed task, for example a piece of marketing collateral, a job advert, or a written process for your business.

It could be as simple as a text message on the deadline day to check you have done it, to which you would respond with a yes or a no.

It could be a phone call, or it could be how your next coaching session is kicked off with a review of the tasks set before the coaching progresses.

For a coach, there is nothing more frustrating than a client who consistently fails to deliver on their commitments.

It is at this point the client’s dedication to the coaching programme should be drawn into question and if no improvement is made, a great coach would terminate the contract to prevent you wasting any more money.
